PERTH TO JOIN UNESCO CREATIVE CITY NETWORK
Earlier this year, Perth and Kinross Council approached me to ask if I would sit for a portrait in support of their UNESCO application. I'm absolutely delighted that they were successful with their bid and have since been awarded the title of 'City of Culture & Folk Art'.
'After a highly competitive bidding process, Perth will join the established global group of 50 countries from across the world in celebrating craft, including Jaipur, Cairo and Carrera.' (UNESCO.org.uk)
