'Mined Mind' was selected for 'A SPACE BETWEEN', an online exhibition of moving image work.
This work explores the capitalist approach that attention is seen as a commodity ubiquitously harvested for profit. The neotony of the woman and cookies distract the distasteful aim to collect valuable, available brain time under the guise of convenience. This encourages me to consider the idea that the space between my mind and targeted content on screen is illusory. What punctures my mind and infests my imagination when I spend my time and attention so generously with online media?
